Fall 2022: Sponsored Hug High School Cheerleader uniforms.

June 2022: Partnered with the Nevada Women’s Fund to endow the KristenMcNeil Scholarship fund.

August 2022: Granted $10k to WCSD CTE robotics program.

Winter 2022: Welcomed 5 new board members:

  • Caryn Swobe: Dorothy Lemelson Foundation

February 2023: Partnered with DRI to invest $24k in METRICs robotics teacher training at WCSD schools.

May 2023: In partnership with EDWAN, WEF hosted its annual Business & Education luncheon with keynote speakers Superintendent Enfield and UNR President Brian Sandoval, (3) raising over $75k; presented the 1st annual “Torch” award for leadership in public education to Sandoval.

June 2023: Approved over $60k in funding directly to WCSD schools and classrooms by way of WEIFIE awards and middle school STEM lab refurbishment.
